My middle name is Mandeeya (pronounced Man-deih-ya) and it means "I have accepted the past and ready to move on" in Dagbani. I am a software engineer and enjoy what I do.
My interests cuts across fields and I love empowering girls in STEM through Tech Needs Girls Ghana and promoting youth development by helping build capacity. I hobby in photography, music making, gaming (a self-proclaimed Anno 1404 champ!), and football (soccer). I have over 5 years experience as a software engineer and founded Nasara Tech in 2013
I currently lead the Software Engineering efforts at Hello Tractor, an agricultural technology company that is improving global food and income security by building a network of “Smart Tractor” owners that farmers obtain service from via SMS. This way, small landowners have access to affordable farm machine services to increase their productivity. I engineer and manage the development of the android application for data tracking and analysis, web app and the SMS Booking platform primary used by farmers.
Aside software engineering, I have a strong interest in business and social entrepreneurship and studied business and entrepreneurship for six weeks, at the University of Nevada, Reno as a 2015 Mandela Washington Fellow
Connect with me on my social networks or send an email to rasheeda@rasheedayehuza.com. I would love to hear from you!
